MWM and Jamaat-e-Islami announce joint movement for the oppressed Palestinians

Shiite News: Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Allama Sadiq Jafari called on a delegation of Jamaat e Islami led by Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and Muslim Pervez at the provincial office of Wahdat House. Allama Mubashir Hasan, Mir Taqi Zafar, Nasir ul Hussaini were also present at the moment.

The leaders held a joint press conference after the meeting. On the occasion Allama Sadiq Jafari said that Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Jamaat-e-Islami Palestinian Muslims would show solidarity and launch a nationwide movement against Israeli aggression. On the appeal of Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, on Friday, 21st May, there will be a nationwide solidarity day protest against the Israeli aggression in Palestine. Rallies in favor of Palestine will be held in small and big cities of the country on Friday. Protests and rallies will be held all over Sindh, especially outside the Masajid of Karachi.

He further said that the attack on Palestine was an attack on the honor and dignity of the Islamic world. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has appealed to the entire nation to come out of their homes on 21st May in support of the oppressed Palestinians. The purpose of the rallies is to support Palestine and raise voice against Israeli barbarism. He said that the Pakistani government should take a blunt and clear stand against Israel. He also assured to fully participate in the Palestine Solidarity March on Sunday, 23rd May 2021 called on by Jamaat e Islami.

Addressing the conference, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Ameer e Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, said that due to thedisloyality of Arab rulers, innocent Palestinian Muslims are being oppressed by Israel today. The Muslim Ummah should help the oppressed Palestinian Muslims practically. Dignified Muslims regarding prestige have to shake the insensitive rulers and their dead consciences. He added that the silence of the international community on the issue of Palestine was not only shameful but also criminal negligence and the worst indifference. He said that the issue of Palestine was not just a dispute of land but a matter of survival of generations. Not only the Palestinians belong to Jerusalem, but everyone who attest testimony of Islam and keep an emotional attachment to first Qibla. The government of Pakistan should announce its military and financial support to the Palestinian Muslims in this hour of need.
