Pakistan’s Muslim, Christian, Hindu and Sikh leaders speak out against Israeli atrocities on unarmed Palestinians

Shiite News: Pakistan’s Muslim, Christian, Hindu and Sikh leaders have joined hands against the senseless atrocities against the unarmed Palestinians of the Zionist state of Israel occupying the first qiblah.

A rally was held at Cathedral Church Lahore under the auspices of National Commission for Interfaith Dialogue. Maulana Asim Makhdoom, Chairman of the Board of Total Sects of Scholars, and Archbishop Sebastian Frances Shaw attended the rally.

Also present on the occasion were Father Ashfaq Anthony, Sohail Ahmad Raza, Allama Asghar Arif Chishti, Father Francis Sabir, Father Mushtaq Piara, Leader of Shia Ulema Council Qasim Ali Qasmi, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad Gujjar, Dr Badr Munir Mujaddidi.

Participants called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to play a role in preventing the persecution of Palestinians. Archbishop Sebastian Francis said that Palestine is a holy land for both Muslims and Christians. We condemn the persecution of Palestinians. Everyone has a common demand.

Maulana Asim Makhdoom said that the United Nations should take notice of the atrocities against the Palestinians, human rights organizations must break the silence against this cruel violence.
