Chief of Defence Staff United Kingdom meets Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

According to ISPR, matters of mutual interests came under discussion during the meeting.

Specially, they discussed Afghan peace process, security and defence cooperation as well as evolving global geo-strategic environment.

Moreover, the visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region.

Besides, he pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries.

Meanwhile, Zalmay Khalilzad and US Resolute Support Mission chief meet Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ on Monday.

According to the media reports, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad and General Austin Scott Miller, the Commander Resolute Support Mission called on him.

Matters of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting.

Moreover, they exchanged views on matters related to regional security and the ongoing Afghanistan Reconciliation Process.

During the meeting, the visiting U.S. officials appreciated Pakistan’s role in the ongoing peace process.
