IOF arrests several Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Tuesday several citizens during raids in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem. A leader in Hamas Movement was arrested from Jenin while a boy was injured in clashes in Bethlehem.
In Bethlehem, IOF arrested Mustafa Damesa and Islam Sabateen after raiding their homes.
IOF stormed the Duheisheh refugee camp and clashes erupted at the main gate of the camp. A 17-year-old boy was wounded by a bullet in his foot and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
In Jenin, special units of the occupation army known as “Mistaravim” kidnapped Qais Hamdan, 21, and Nabil Jarrar, 25, after they raided their families’ homes in the city and searched them.
Confrontations broke out after storming Jenin during which IOF fired bullets and tear gas canisters at the youths, without any injuries reported.
The IOF soldiers also arrested the leader in Hamas, Khaled al-Hajj, 55, from his house in the Jabriyat neighborhood in Jenin.
In Ramallah, IOF arrested Muhammad Al-Barghouti and Sari Al-Barghouti after breaking into their home in Kober town, west of Ramallah.
In al-Khalil province, IOF soldiers arrested three young men in its villages after storming and searching their houses.
IOF also searched several homes including the house of the ex-prisoner, Samer Abu Sharkh, in al-Dhahiriya.
The IOF soldiers set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of al-Khalil, searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their ID cards.
In Occupied Jerusalem, the occupation police arrested Ishaq Abu Haddwan.
