The 1422nd martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatima being observed

The 1422nd martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatima is being observed with reverence in Pakistan like other parts of the world.
Hazrat Fatima was the infallible daughter of Hazrat Muhammad, the last apostle and prophet of God Almighty. She was martyred in 11 A.H. in Medina. She was 18 years old when she died.

Condolence congregations are being observed under the slogan of “Ayyam e Fatimia (A.S.) in all over the world these days. In some parts, people commemorate the anniversary as Ashura-e-Fatimia and in some parts Ayyam-e-Fatimia (A.S.) are observed.

Religious scholars narrate the holy life of the great woman of history of Islam these days. Noha Khwans mourn the anniversary by reciting nohas. Clad in black suits, Shia Muslims grieve and share condolence as a regular annual religious and cultural feature.

The last apostle and prophet of Almighty God Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) had said that Fatima is leader of all women in Paradise.

Hazrat Fatima (A.S.) was married to Hazrat Ali (A.S.) and left behind four children namely Imam Hassan (A.S.), Imam Hussain (A.S.) Hazrat Zainab (A.S.) and Hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom (A.S.).
