Shia Ulema Council leader condemns murder of journalist in DIK – Dera Ismail Khan.

While talking to the media persons at Jamiatul Najaf in Kotli Imam Hussain (AS), Allama Ramzan Tauqeer lamented targeted killing of Qais Javed.

He demanded the government to include terrorism related sections in the FIR of the murder case forthwith as per demand of journalist community.

Moreover, he asked the government to help the bereaved family of the slain journalist through compensatory amount.

He urged the government to take needed steps to ensure protection of journalists.
