Chief of the Army Staff of India, General Manoj Mukund Naravane is conducting four-day visit of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

New Delhi-based media reported his visit aims at boosting India’s defence and security ties with the two influential countries in the Gulf region.
He has already visited Myanmar and Nepal during two months.
As per reports, General Naravane will first visit Riyadh for two days and then head to the UAE.
Importantly, Indian analysts attach importance to the first such visit of an Indian Army chief to the two GCC- Arab countries.
During his trip to Saudi Arabia, the Indian Army chief will address the Saudi National Defence College.
Meanwhile, General Naravane would hold talks with top military brass in both the countries.

He travelled to Nepal and Myanmar in order to strengthen India’s relations with the two neighbouring countries.
Timing of the visit matters much because Saudi Arabia had already allowed Indian airlines to use Saudi airspace for travelling to and from Israel.
Now, Israeli regime has held secret meetings with Saudi regime in Saudi Arabia.
