Gilgit Baltistan all set for voting in the general election to GBLA Sunday.
As many as 330 candidates including four women are contesting the general elections in 23 constituencies of GB Assembly.

The Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan has announced three -day holidays from today on the occasion of elections.
Meanwhile, the Chief Election Commissioner of Gilgit Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan has said all arrangement have been finalized for holding of free, fair and transparent elections.
On the other hand, Federal Minister Senator Shibli Faraz accused opposition parties of trying to cover their possible defeat through allegations of pre-poll rigging.
He said that general elections in Gilgit Baltistan tomorrow will be held free and fair.
He further said that PTI government strongly believes in transparency. But opposition parties who are taking part in these elections are trying to cover their possible defeat.
The Minister urged the media to expose these tactics and show the people reality.
Meanwhile, Islami Tehreek has nominated eight candidates, while MWM has fielded 3 candidates to contest Gilgit Baltistan election 2020.
It has nominated Kazim Maisam for electoral contest from GBLA-8 Skardu, while MWM named Haji Rizwan Ali as contestant from GBLA-5 Nagar 2.
Earlier, MWM claims credit for Prime Minister Imran’s announcement to grant Gilgit Baltistan provincial status.
Imran Khan made this announcement, while addressing the attendees and participants of the Azadi Parade held to mark the 73rd Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan.
Moreover, he congratulated people of GB on the PTI government’s decision to give GB provincial status.
