Allama Ali Rizvi said that people of Gilgit Baltistan demand empowerment and due representation in the Parliament of Pakistan like other provinces.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) GB leader said that people would reject powerless empty status and set up.

Earlier, Allama Mirza Ali slammed delaying tactics against Gilgit Baltistan rights and its full Constitutional status as a province.

He said that his Islamic Tehreek Pakistan had made this demand formally in 1994 and now civil military leaders and parliamentarians also endorse that.

However, he rejected delaying tactics which some elements are adopting to deny Gilgit Baltistan its due constitutional status as province.

Allama Mirza Ali rejected suggestions of constituting provincial assembly (legislature) and demand from that legislature for province. Moreover, he called it childish.

He also criticised opponents of Gilgit Baltistan’s inalienable rights and slammed them for their mala fide intention.
