Shia Islamic clerics in Islamabad endorse Karachi Declaration of Shia leaders to reject sectarian fanaticism, chauvinism, hatemongering and intolerance.

Their meeting held at Jamia Imam Sadiq G-9/2 Islamabad where Allama Shaikh Shifa Najafi and Syed Hasnain Abbas Gardezi co-chaired the meeting.

Daily obligatory prayers’ leaders, Friday prayers leaders and senior scholars of Shia Islamic seminaries from Rawalpindi and Islamabad attended the meeting.

They also announced all out support for joint statement of veteran Shia Islamic leaders and scholars.

They also requested Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Allama Mohsin Najafi and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari to address a joint press conference to expose plots against Shia Islamic creed.

Furthermore, Shia leaders and scholars decided to form a representative body of leaders of daily obligatory prayers and Friday prayers in Islamabad/Pindi.

They decided to present and defend authentic Shia Islamic case of Ahle Bayt (AS) through mosques and Imam Bargahs.

Meanwhile, they urged all concerned notables to play their role to seek nullifying of the false cases which police registered against Shia Muslims.
