Syed Ali Hussain Naqvi and other companions condemned the illegal and unfair ban on moderate, law-abiding and peace-preaching Shia Ulema and Zakir.
They said that qualified Shia Islamic scholars always preached unity of Ummah and humanity. Hence, ban on their speeches stand rejected, they said.
They also slammed Karachi and Sindh governments over its failure to do its annual job of ensuring cleanliness, repairing and reconstruction of roads during Moharram, so far.
MWM leaders criticised the local government and provincial government for their failure in resolving genuine municipal related issues.
Meanwhile, Shia Muslims demand lifting of ban on all qualified Shia Islamic scholars since they never violate code of ethics and law.
They termed ban on moderate and peace-loving and law-abiding Shia Islamic scholars as unjustifiable.
Even Sunnis respect and adore Shia Islamic scholars because they narrate the historical facts regarding Imam Hussain-led Martyrs of Karbala and Ahle Bayt (PBUT).
Earlier, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi issued a warning he would not address azadari majalis in protest against unjust ban.
However, the government later apologized and clarified its position and corrected the erroneous notification which Home Department issued earlier.
