They say Pakistan Army Chief was visiting Saudi Arabia on Monday, while Qatari and Saudi ambassadors met Foreign Minister and Senate chairman, respectively.

Qatari Ambassador to Pakistan Sheikh Saud Abdul Rehman Al-Thani called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.

The FM said Pakistan and Qatar have deep rooted fraternal relations. He hoped these relations would further strengthen in the days ahead.

The two sides also discussed cooperation in different sectors and matters of mutual interests.

Meanwhile, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan met Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani at Parliament House Islamabad.

Sanjrani said they have always stood with each other in every difficult time.

The Chairman Senate further said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy cordial relations.

Meanwhile, they discussed important issues, including bilateral relations.

Sanjrani said the two countries always worked in consultation on international issues and problems.

He said Pakistani Parliament, especially the Upper House, reiterates its commitment to spare no sacrifice for the protection of the holy places in the Kingdom.

The Chairman said we can never forget Saudi Arabia standing by Pakistan in every difficult time.

Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani further said Pakistan can never recognize Israel.
