MWM Punjab leader vows to defeat forces of terrorism in Pakistan where they are hoodwinking common man in the guise of Sunni sanctities.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Punjab secretary general Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi made this pledge, while talking to various delegates at Lahore office.

The delegations from all numerous districts of Punjab called on him.

He said that so-called Tahaffuz-e-Bunyad-e-Islam had nothing that protects foundation of Islamic creed and principles.

Allam Asadi said that some political patrons of outlawed terror outfits Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (ASWJ), Daesh and al-Qaida have come out to serve their vested interests.

However, he made it clear that ensuring protection of Moharram azadari (sacred mourning) processions and congregations is responsibility of the government.

Earlier, Sunni Shia Islamic unity and brotherhood witnessed at religious conference titled “Affection with the last Prophet (PBUH) and Unity of Ummah conference” (Ishaq e Rasool and Ittehad e Ummat conference).

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sahibzada Noor ul Haq Qadri and Sunni and Shia Islamic scholars spoke at the conference held in Islamabad.

Qadri stressed forging unity among the ranks of Muslims to jointly work for progress and prosperity of the country to frustrate the conspiracies of anti-Islamic forces.

While chairing the conference, he further said that without unity and harmony among the various sections of the society, Pakistan cannot move forward on the path of progress and development.
