He also addressed corner meetings at different places in connection with electioneering.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Gilgit Baltistan secretary general said that some people who sold out jobs and contracts were lecturing others.
Agha Ali Rizvi suggested to them they must refrain from hoodwinking people who know their corruption.
He said if they (MWM and allied organisations) had not launched campaign against them, the corrupt ruler would have plundered everything.
Earlier, MWM GB leaders met acting CM and CEC Gilgit Baltistan to discuss election related matters.
In their separate meetings with acting Chief Minister and Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit Baltistan, Allama Agha Syed Ali Rizvi led the MWM delegation.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) delegation congratulated Mir Afzal Khan over his appointment as acting CM GB.
They expressed hope he would play due role in ensuring of timely election to Gilgit Baltistan legislature.
Meanwhile, the MWM delegation shared their reservations over transparency of GB election.
During their meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner CEC, they also handed over written proposals for ensuring transparency of electoral process.
Earlier in May, President Dr Arif Alvi promulgated a presidential order to form a caretaker government.
That also ordered extension of the Elections Act 2017 to Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
In this regard, the federal Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan also issued a notification.
It said the president promulgated the “Gilgit-Baltistan Election and Caretaker Amendment Order, 2020” to conduct transparent elections in GB.
The Gilgit Baltistan Assembly had completed its five-year tenure on June 24, 2020.
However, reports had it the government is considering to postpone elections for the GB Assembly till October this year.
