Turi Bangash tribe have a history of sacrifices for the sake of Pakistan, said Allama Shaikh Fida Hussain Mazahiri and other notables.

They expressed these views while addressing a hurriedly-called jirga at Markazi Imam Bargah Parachinar.

Tribal elders and Ulma lamented that despite their sacrifices for Pakistan and their cooperation and support to security forces and the government, they are facing multiple issues.

They demanded of the authorities concerned to ensure immediate withdrawal of FIRs against five notables of Turi Bangash tribe.

Notables and elders rejected unfair cases and one-sided action on the issue of Balishkhel Shamilati land dispute.

They said unilateral and one-sided unfair action compelled people to instant and stiff reaction.

Meanwhile, they decided a representative delegation of mishran would meet top government officials in this regard.

They said people want peace and tranquility in the entire Kurrum district, including Parachinar.

Meanwhile, Shia Ulma Council KP chapter president Allama Hameed Imami held DC Kurrum responsible for worsening conditions.

He said that Kurrum peace has remained disturbed since the day Fahad Shah took over as Deputy Commissioner Kurrum.

The SUC leader Allama Imami demanded of the government to immediately removed DC Fahad Shah.

He also demanded withdrawal of FIRs against religious leaders of Parachinar forthwith.

Allama Imami cited uncalled for FIRs against Tehreek-e-Hussaini leader Allama Abid Hussain Jafari, Allama Muzzammil Hussain, Allama Syed Tajammul Hussain and other notables.

He said Deputy Commissioner Fahad Shah remains involved in mischievous activities.
