SUC announces to contest GB election as Islami Tehreek Pakistan.

The Shia Ulema Council’s political platform Islami Tehreek Pakistan will contest election to Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly.

The secretary general Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi made this announcement.

He further said that the party is constituting parliamentary board to shortlist the potential contenders.

Moreove, Allama Wahidi said they have asked willing nominees to apply for candidacies.

Veteran Shia Islamic scholar and political Islamic leader Allama Sajid Naqvi leads the party.

However, another leading Shia Islamic party MWM has emerged as a heavyweight in the Gilgit Baltistan politics.

But they prefer alliance and seat adjustment with Allama Sadiq Naqvi’s party.
