Allama Sibtain lauds Punjab Assembly resolution for Jannatul Baqi shrines’ construction.

Shia Ulema Council (SUC) leader Allama Syed Sibtain Sabzwari backed the demand for construction of shrines over graves of great Islamic saints buried in Jannatul Baqi Madinah.

He called for construction of tombs over the graves of Imams from Ahl-e-Bayt of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (BUH).

He praised MPA Syed Hassan Murtaza from Pakistan Peoples Party for tabling the resolution in Punjab’s provincial legislature.

In this regard, Allama Sibtain asked Parliament and provincial legislatures of other province to adopt resolutions unanimously as well.

The SUC leader urged Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convey to the Saudi regime for construction of tombs in Jannatul Baqi.

Punjab Assembly adopted resolution for construction of shrine of Bibi Fatima in Jannatul Baqi historical graveyard in Madinah in present day Saudi Arabia.

The Pakistan Peoples Party’s parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Hassan Murtaza tabled the resolution.

Provincial legislature unanimously adopted the resolution asking the federal government to formally talk to Saudi regime in this regard.

Pakistan to ask Saudi regime

Importantly, it asked Pakistan government to use its diplomatic influence and channel with Saudi government for taking steps regarding construction of the holy shrine.

It demanded construction of shrine of Hazrat Bibi Fatima Zahra (AS), the beloved daughter of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

Adoption of that resolution unanimously shows the depth of respect and adoration for Ahle Bayt of Prophet Mohammad (BUH)) which Pakistani nation have for them.

Notably, Pakistani nation adores and revere Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), Bibi Fatima Zahra, Maula Ali (AS) and Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (PBUT).

Punjab legislature represent Pakistani nation’s reverence for Ahle Bayt (PBUT).

Since long, Pakistanis have been demanding restoration of the entire Jannatul Baqi graveyard to its pre-demolition position.

Jannatul Baqi graveyard in Madinah

Jannatul Baqi graveyard in Madinah houses the ruined graves of four Imams from Ahle Bayt, wives of Hazrat Mohammad and his uncle Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib.

The graveyard also has ruined graves of companions of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

When King Ibn Saud followed Wahhabism of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhab Nejdi.

He waged war on the custodian of holy shrines of Makkah and Madinah known as Sharif.

Under that Wahhabis intolerant fanatic doctrine, they demolished shrines. They also reduced tombs and graves to sands.

Since then, even the graves remain ruined and dilapidated with only a stone to show them like grave.
