He emphasized the need to refraining from gagging journalists/media persons.
The SUC leader said that journalists have made huge sacrifices for the sake of press freedom. He noted freedom of expression and press freedom included among fundamental human rights.
Moreover, he also appealed to journalists/media persons to devote journalism for service of humanity.
Allama Sajid asked them to play their role in making life of human being purposeful focusing on moral humane values.
He urged the journalists of Muslim world to also counter plots of enemies of Islam and Muslims.
Furthermore, he underlined the need for a concrete media policy to expose and foil the machinations of imperialist powers.
