Shia Muslims reject policy of equating peaceful parties with terror outfits as unjust and biased.

Pakistan government has named some Shia Islamic parties and groups in the list of 79 banned groups/parties.

Shia Muslims remind the government that (Deobandi) takfiri terrorist groups perpetrated terror attacks across Pakistan.

They further said that outlawed takfiri terrorist groups such as Taliban/TTP and its break away factions or Sipah Sahaba (ASWJ)/LEJ also attacked security forces.

Shia community cited that these banned Deobandi militant groups also bombed mosques, shrines, Imam Bargahs, military headquarters and installations.

But, at the same time, no Shia Islamic party or group has ever made such sorts of terror attacks.

Therefore, Shia community urged Pakistan government to stop equating Shia parties and groups with aforesaid ferocious takfiri terror outfits.

They demanded immediate exclusion of Shia Islamic parties and groups from the list of outlawed/proscribed organisations.

Earlier, Punjab Home Department had issued a list of 79 banned organisations. It asked people not to donate alms during Ramazan or Eid to these groups.

Shia community says that ethnic separatists and takfiri sectarian terrorists deserve capital punishment.
But they underlined the illegality and unfairness of government’s bracketing peaceful Shia organisations with separatists and militants.
