Two pilots martyred in Pakistan Army training aircraft crash near Gujrat in Punjab province today.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations, both pilots Major Umer, Instructor Pilot and Lieutenant Faizaan, Student Pilot, embraced martyrdom.

They were performing routine training mission while boarding the training aircraft Mushaq.

Due to crash, said two personnel of Pak Army embraced martyrdom.

Major Umer who hailed from Gujrat left behind a widow while student Pilot Lieutenant Faizaan belonged to Kalar Kahar, Chakwal.

Later, President Dr Arif Alvi and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi issued condolence messages.

Condolences

President of Pakistan expressed grief and sorrow of the sad demise of two pilots of Pakistan Army when their training aircraft crashed on Monday.

In a statement, he commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed higher status for martyred Major Umar and Lieutenant Faizan in heaven.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed grief over the death of two pilots of Pakistan Army training aircraft Mushaq in Gujrat today.

In a statement, he extended heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families of both martyrs.

The Foreign Minister prayed for the departed souls.

Earlier, a pilot of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had embraced martyrdom in the plane crash in Islamabad.

The fighter jet was flying as rehearsal for Pakistan Day parade but Coronavirus threat cancelled the parade.
