Zulfi Bukhari announces legal battle against PMLN leader Khawaja Asif over baseless allegations against him on return of Pakistani pilgrims to their country.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis said this while talking to Voice of America.

He cited PMLN leader Khawaja Asif false claim that Zulfi Bukhari forcibly brought Pakistani Zaireen (pilgrims) back to Pakistan via Taftan border crossing.

Khawaja Asif also accused him of making pilgrims flee Taftan quarantine centre but Bukhari rejected these slurring remarks as lies.

Bukhari said that Kh Asif put his life under threat through false allegations. Hence he would wage legal battle against him.

Meanwhile, Bukhari also made clear that he had ensured timely return of stranded Pakistanis from Saudi Arabia, UK and many other countries.

He said he did so for the sake of compatriots and the country.

MWM slams authorities for flaws

On the other hand, MWM slammed authorities for flaws in measures against Coronavirus spread. Its secretary general reminded that the pandemic also spread through air travel.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari reminded the authorities that if it spread through entries into Pakistan by road, Coronavirus also spread through those came from abroad by air travel.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leader expressed these views in a private TV channel programme.

MWM slams authorities for flaws

He rebuffed the false propaganda against Iran, clarifying that Pakistanis go to Iran on one-month visa and return on expiry of visa duration.

He said that Iran had not expelled them but they returned due to expiry of visa as usual.
