Sindh High Court orders media not to link pilgrims with Coronavirus outbreak. The SHC issued this order on a petition which Allama Riaz Hussain al Hussaini had filed.

Shia Ulema Council leader Allama Riaz Hussaini had raised strong objection to create negative and malicious impression against Zaireen (pilgrims) on the pretext of Coronavirus.

Sindh High Court Sukkur bench nodded the viewpoint of the petitioner.

Allama Riaz prepared the petition on the directive of Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi.

Lawyers Babar Leghari, Imtiaz Shah and Baqir Ali Shah Mousavi represented the petitioner in the Sindh High Court Sukkur bench.

The SHC also directed the government ought not to prolong the stay of screened and quarantined pilgrims at Taftan border.

Moreover, it ordered checkup of non-screened/non-quarantined pilgrims belonging to Sindh at Sukkur local hospital.
