Allama Sajid Naqvi demands release of Mir Shakilur Rehman immediately.
Veteran Shia scholar and leader made this demand citing legal and moral requirement.
Shia Ulema Council leader said that the NAB officials arrested media group owner Mir Shakilur Rehman prior to completing the inquiry against him.

He further said it is unfair and unusual to arrest an accused of private property scam on the basis of an incomplete probe.
Moreover, he said the arrests lacks transparency and reflects bias towards the media.
Allama Sajid Naqvi noted that Mir Shakil’s arrest has created a sense of fear among people belonging to the media industry.
