Arrangements for chehlum of Qassem Soleimani in Karachi finalised, said Shia parties leaders today.

While addressing a joint press conference at Nishtar Park, they said all set to observe chehlum on Sunday afternoon.

Imamia Students Organisation’s central president Arif Hussain Aljani, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi of MWM and other office bearers spoke.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s Allama Mukhtar ISO’s Mohammad Abbas, Haiyyat-e-Aimma-e-Masajid’s Maulana Mohammad Hussaini Raeesi and others also accompanied them.

Leaders of MWM, SUC, Jafaria Alliance and many other organisations had announced to hold a huge public meeting on the Chehlum.

They said their mass contact campaign remained successful.

Now, they expressed certainty that people would largely attend the public meeting on Qassem Soleimani’s chehlum on February 09, 2020 at Nishtar Park Karachi.

ISO KD president said prominent Sunni and Shia Islamic scholars and politicians will also address the mourning congregation.

Furthermore, he said that they expect huge participation at Nishtar Park mourning public meeting.

Mohammad Abbas urged all supporters to join them at 3p.m. on Sunday February 09.

He said that Lt-Gen. Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Mohandis had led counterterrorism war for the protection of sacred shrines of Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and companions of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

Due to their heroic role, people lauded them as great martyrs whom they would pay tribute at mammoth public meeting.
