Martyrdom anniversary of Muzaffar Kirmani observed in Karachi with reverence.
Friends of Kirmani Shaheed arranged a mourning congregation in commemoration of Muzaffar Kirmani and Nazeer Abbas.
However, family and other friends have observed main programmes on February 04 and 05.
MWM Sindh chapter secretary genera Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi addressed the 19th anniversary majlis at Mehfil Shah-e-Khorasan.
He spoke on importance of martyrdom.

Allama Baqir Abbas said that Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) had called for mourn over martyrdom of his uncle Hazrat Hamza.
He said that Bibi Fatima too had gone to the grave of Hazrat Hamza to pay respect.
He said that commemorating the martyrs of Islam and humanity remain important.
The MWM leader said that enemies assassinated Muzaffar Kirmani in a bid to stop revolutionary impacts of ideology of Islamic revolution.
Terrorists assassinated Mr. Kirmani and Nazeer Abbas near Nishtar Park in Soldier Bazaar Karachi on February 05, 2001.
Mr. Kirmani had served Pakistan and humanity as a visionary social and religious figure.
He had founded a matami anjuman Lashkar-e-Imam Zamana. He was one of those who highlighted the issue of Palestine and al Quds in late 1970s and early 1980s. Muzaffar Kirmani led Quds Day rallies as well.
Then he entered into mainstream politics. He had contested election to National Assembly as TNFJ leader. He also served as an active leader of TJP.
Finally, he founded his own think-tank to preach Islamic ideology. The pious soul remained misfit in the society where intolerance and hatred overshadowed everything in 1980s and 1990s.
