Firdous Ashiq Awan calls for Pakistan Iran people to people contact during a meeting with Ambassador Mohammad Ali Hosseini of Iran.
Iran ambassador to Pakistan met Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting in Islamabad.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan acknowledged the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields.
While talking to him, she emphasised people-to-people contact between the two countries.

The two sides discussed bilateral ties and cooperation between Pakistan and Iran at regional and international levels.
Furthermore, they also emphasized the need for further developing cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in all sectors.
They also reviewed the level of cooperation between the two states in the fields of culture and media.
The two sides also agreed to enhance media cooperation.
Both sides called for implementation of the agreements already signed between Iran and Pakistan.
They said that it would provide a favorable environment to enhance their bilateral Pak Iran relations.
The Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mohammad Ali Hosseini had a meeting with Minister for Narcotics Control Shehryar Khan Afridi in Islamabad.
He offered Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials for conducting joint operations with Anti-Narcotics Police (ANP) of Iran to help stop the movement of illicit drugs.
Shehryar Afridi welcomed the Iranian Ambassador and his offer.
