But, Afghan Taliban denied any such meeting in Quetta mosque at the time of the Daesh attack.
Arab world use the word Daesh to identify notorious terrorist group ISIS (ISIL) by its acronym.
Daesh claims responsibility
The Daesh takfiri terror group posted its claim on its Pakistan Telegram channel but Taliban spokesman Qari Mohammad Yousuf Ahmadi denied it.
He said in a statement that none of his group’s members had been present at the mosque.
Daesh targets mosque
At least 15 lost livs in the terror attack on Friday evening.
According to Quetta Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abdul Razzaq Cheema and hospital sources, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Amanullah and the mosque’s imam also lost their lives.
The powerful explosion ripped through the mosque in southwest Pakistan during Friday evening prayers.
However, AP reported bombing also wounded 11 other worshipers in the city of Quetta, the capital of the restive Baluchistan province. But, the AP report quoted local police chief Mohammad Ajmal.
Suicide bomber explodes in Quetta
A senior police officer told a private news channel that a suicide bomber perpetrated this terror attack.
The Counter Terrorism Department registered the first information report (FIR) regarding the Quetta blast case.
