Ayatollah Khamenei meets Christian family on the occasion of Christmas

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said during a meeting with a Christian family on the occasion of Christmas that the guidance of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) is worshipping God and confronting Pharaohs and tyrants.

“Today, many who claim to follow Prophet Jesus (PBUH), take a different path than that of him,” Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said during a meeting with the family of a Christian martyr of the 8-year Iraqi imposed war against Iran on the occasion of Christmas.

“Following Jesus Christ requires adherence to righteousness and abhorrence of anti-righteous powers, and it is hoped that Christians and Muslims in every part of the world will adhere to this great lesson from Prophet Jesus (PBUH) in their lives and deeds” he added, according to his office’s Twitter account.

“Today, many who claim to follow Jesus Christ, take a different path than that of him. The guidance of Jesus, the son of Mary (peace be upon our Prophet and her) is guidance towards worshiping God and confronting the Pharaohs and tyrants,” the Leader stressed.

“The honor Muslims attribute to Jesus Christ (PBUH) is no less than his position and merit in the eyes of the Christian believers in Christianity,” Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
