Allama Safdar Najafi remembered on 29th anniversary of passing away. Main mourning congregation held at Jamiatul Muntazir while ISO CP offered fateha at his grave.

His admirers remember his due to his matchless services in the field of Islamic and Quranic education.

Veteran Shia Islami scholar Allama Syed Safdar remained a staunch supporter and companion of Allama Arif Hussaini.

Agha Shaikh Shariat based in Karachi had introduced Imam Khomeini in Pakistan even before the success of Islamic revolution in Iran.

But, credit goes to Allama Safdar Najafi as the first scholar who translated the book of religious decrees of Imam Khomeini in Urdu.

That itself a great service to the followers of Shia Islam. He had also paid attention to prmotion of Quranic teachings.

Therefore, the community and supporters never forgot him. They gathered at Ali Masjid Jamiatul Muntazir to pay homage to him.

Moreover, Allama Qazi Niaz, Allama Afzal Hyderi, Allama Baqir Ghalu and Allama Ali Naqvi spoke there.

They highlighted various aspects of scholarly life of Allama Najafi. Particularly, they lauded him as founder of Islamic learning centres and sincerity.
