Supporters of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen resumed their sit-in on Thursday near mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah in solidarity with the Revolution March’s Islamabad sit-in.

The supporters and the officials of the MWM at sit-in were of the views that after registration of Model Town’s June 17 massacre case, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have no legal or moral right to continue as Prime Minister and Chief Minister.

Speaking to the sitters, Allama Mukhtar Imami, Hasan Hashmi, Mubashir Hassan and Ali Hussain Naqvi, said that now there must be an action against the accused and they should be taken into custody by police for investigation like police do with other Pakistanis.

They said that the MWM’s alliance with Dr Qadri should be considered a strategic partnership for common goals in the interest of Islam, Muslims and oppressed people of Pakistan. They vowed that partnership would continue and they would also support the struggle within the ambit of the Constitutional limits and democratic norms.
