“Religious people are confined in mosques and hujrahs while power is handed over to those whose characters are not compatible with humanity,” he said speaking at a programme held under the aegis of Coordination Council of Religious leaders and intellectuals at a local hotel.
The topic of the programme was “World Economic and Political Crisis and Responsibility of religious leaders and intellectuals.
Mr. Jafri said that Pakistan’s condition was like stagnant water because our economic, social and educational systems were imported from Europe.
He said that the word politics was defamed to the extent that atheists, oppressors, tyrant and usurpers took control over the political affairs. He said that this trend and practice caused divisions and disputes.
He said that imperialistic system is being fallen and an Islamic order is ready to replace the system. He said that new era has been started with the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
