Supporters of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen staged a sit-in at main Martyr Monument in Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan province).

Allama Agha Syed Mazahir Hussain, deputy secretary general of the MWM Gilgit-Baltistan chapter said that Shia Muslims’ leading party MWM and its ally Sunni Ittehad Council have formed an alliance with Dr Tahir ul Qadri and his other allied parties on common points agreed by all the component parties.

The supporters were raising slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) and vowed to strengthen Shia-Sunni unity and always support Sunni-Shia alliance in Pakistani politics. They vented their anger against the PMLN government for its inaction against the Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba and its allied terrorist outfits.

Allama Agha Ali Rizvi, Maulana Abid Behishti, Maulana Jan Haideri, Zahid Hussain Zahidi, Shaikh Mohammad Baqari and Agha Aijaz Hussain Moosavi also spoke to the supporters. They said that had the PMLN government ordered Operation Zarb-e-Azb soon after coming to power, notorious Yazidi takfiri Taliban terrorists would not have been able to massacre Pakistani civilians and security officials and nation would have averted those terrorist attacks.

They said that PMLN government took no action against banned Sipah-e-Sahaba and its subsidiaries. They said that government inaction emboldened the terrorists who continued genocide against Shiites.
