Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei attended a mourning ceremony at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh in Tehran to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (AS).

Ayatollah Khamenei attended a mourning ceremony at the Husseiniyeh of Imam Khomeini on Sunday evening, the night of Tasoua, to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions (greetings be upon them).

This was the third night in a row that the Supreme Leader took part in mourning ceremonies this Muharram.
