Quetta blasts kills 1 and injures cops and media persons
One person embraced martyrdom while 10 including policemen and media persons sustained injuries in bomb blasts in Quetta.
Two coordinated improvised explosive device (IED) blasts occurred in Quetta’s Khezai Chowk area. That left a rescue worker dead on Thursday evening.
Furthermore, it injured 10 other people, police said.
According to police officials, the first IED went off at the office of a transport company at Khezai Chowk area. The second IED exploded as soon as the police, rescue workers and media persons gathered at the site.
Resultantly, six policemen, including two officers, and Dunya TV’s reporter Ibrar Ahmed and cameraman Rehmat Ali also sustained injuries.
