Azad Kashmir Prime Minister raises Kashmir issue in US visit
Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan is defending legitimate cause in his visit to Washington D.C.
Most importantly, his visit aims at briefing US officials and think-tank experts on the current situation in Kashmir.
There, AJP Prime Minister also spoke at a news briefing at the Pakistan Embassy.
Notably, he said that AJK and Pakistan would not allow India to link the Kashmiri movement for freedom with terrorism.
Furthermore AJK PM vowed there’s no room for terrorism in their peaceful struggle for Kashmir.
“We will remain alert to ensure that India does not succeed in doing so.” His stance came in response to a senior US official’s recent briefing.
Notably, the official lectured Islamabad should prevent militants from taking advantage of the situation on Kashmir.
Moreover, the US official asserted that more importantly Pakistan demonstrate its resolve to halt cross-border terrorism.
However, AJK PM cited Kashmiris have a higher moral ground as compared to Indians committing unprecedented atrocities in Kashmir.
