Testing time demands sacrifice and brotherhood, Chairman MWM

Shiite News: Chairman Majlis Wahdatul Muslim (MWM) Pakistan, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has said that the country’s economy has suffered a severe blow due to floods.

This is not the time for political point scoring but to support the affected families with a national and humanitarian spirit.

It is the primary responsibility of all political and religious parties to actively participate in relief activities with good intentions, sincerity, and dedication.

Extraordinary loss of life and property in 110 districts of the country is not a common occurrence. The responsibility of rehabilitating about 1 million houses and buildings cannot be put on the government alone.
He said that the number of cattle that were washed away in the rural areas is said to be more than seven lakh.
As many as 23 districts of Sindh province are affected by the disaster while more than 1 crore 45 lacs population is included in the victims.

More than 91 lacs 82 thousand people are claiming to have been affected by the floods. This loss cannot be compensated until we put personal differences and grudges aside and enter the field purely in the spirit of help.
He has expressed serious concern over the self-inflicted increase in the prices of agricultural commodities and aid equipment and said that this is a time of humanitarianism.

Illegal profiteering and hoarding cause the displeasure of Allah Almighty. We have the teachings of Islam according to them; this hour of difficulty requires sacrifice and brotherhood.

If we want to stand the country’s economy on its feet anew for the survival and protection of our generations, then it is important to support each other.
